Two of Three Trees Planted at Gilman and Balmforth

Upper left: Flowering Cherry tree  Lower right: Sweet Bay Magnolia tree.

Today Oliver Nurseries planted two large native trees (Flowering Cherry & Sweet Bay Magnolia) at the bench site, corner of Gilman & Balmforth streets on the banks of Ash Creek. These are to replace the three fallen trees.

A Tupelo tree will be planted on the other side of the bench once the last felled tree is removed.

Still to come: ornamental grasses behind the bench and a stone pathway.
